Did you know that... with a lack of phosphorus, the leaves on the underside acquire a purple tint, flowers and sometimes the ovaries fall off, an excess of phosphorus causes a general yellowing of the leaves.
If there is a lack of potassium, the plants dry out, the fruits become variegated in color, and if there is an excess of potassium, dull spots appear.
If the leaves curl, superphosphate should be excluded from fertilizing, and the dose of potassium and nitrogen fertilizers should be increased to 30 g per 10 liters of water.
On tomatoes, foliar application of boric acid (1 g per 1 liter of hot water) during mass flowering is effective, helping to accelerate fruit set and ripening.
